Thanks for the explanation. At least I now know what it relates to. I
don't get anything more but at least now I can just go and see if HP does
want to update something and not worry about it.
As for Silverlite...It seems to be an optional update for Windows that,
according to some on another List, does not seem useful for JAWS users.

automatically.
I suppose it might come up if you were switching tasks or something. But
it
usually is preceded by a screen asking your permission to download some
updates from HP. Their about as frequent as the ones for Windows, itself,
maybe two or three times a week.
HP does seem to stay on top of things reasonably well.
