hello there; well, just so you no, I did try to change the cursor blink from 100% to 63% the setting wouldn't stick after I applied. I'm using windows7.

When I would try to read character by character, Jaws would keep repeating the letter that was highlighted very rapidly and wouldn't stop until you arrowed to the next character. Then, if only stopped briefly and start the repeating process all over again. I wish I had an answer as to why you can't change your blink rate but, hopefully someone on the list will be able to help you. Also along with the default blink rate is supposed to be set at 63%, the Cursor width default setting is supposed tobe set at, 0%, that is, (ZERO%).
