Hi Niamh;

In case you missed my earlier post/ reply, here it is again.

Hi Niamh;

 I am using an, IOGear KVM Switch, Model #: GCS612A. This switch has the
leads to connect 2 computers to it. To switch back & forth between the
computers,
you only have to tap the scroll lock button twice quickly. This particular
model uses PS2 connections for the keyboard & mouse and has an audio lead
for
using external / satellite speakers via a sound card. Oh yeah, and the
typical monitor connection. Hope this helps. Take care.

Mike

  Hi Niam,
  On models that connect more than 2 computers, yes,there are usually
buttons
  on the switch itself.
  Since you are connecting only 2 computers, the switch Mike spoke of will
do
  a nice job,
  it's the same one I started out with some years ago.
  HTH,
  Rick Justice
