Thanks for the info Rick. I am surprised you don't use it from what I know the dvr is very accessible from the internet. Will they try and install a trial anti virus program? I hate it when they do things like that.

They may tell you it is necessary, but it is not, it is just for their technical support staff's convenience, since they can't think outside of a script. smile I have none of their software on my computers. I don't believe that the actual U-verse service goes on the computer, it is more for the TV. If you are using AT&T service for the first time, as your ISP, beware of the following: If you have other e-mail addresses, like g-mail, they will have to be registered with AT&T before you can use them for sending mail thru AT&T's server. I don't have the U-Verse service with them, just the dsl, but from what I hear, your internet connection thru U-Verse should be pretty quick.
