Scorpio:
I am not wanting to start from a particular track.
You stated: "If you created the playlist using the playlist editor, then you
will have to
press enter on the first track on the list, or, press the letter X to start
the playlist from the first track."
After I open up winamp and press the letter x, it asks me what I would like
to open instead of playing music. Am I missing something here?
I will try this again while I wait for a response.

Jaws

It would depend on what you were trying to do.

If you were looking to start from a specific track, then you would
control+tab up to the playlist window, arrow to the track you want to start
playing from, and press enter to start playing that particular track.

If, on the other hand, you're playing an entire folder using the play in
Winamp option in your applications menu, then the tracks in the folder will
start playing automatically.

So, there are two answers here.

If you created the playlist using the playlist editor, then you will have to

press enter on the first track on the list, or, press the letter X to start
the playlist from the first track. If you're looking to start the playlist
from a specific track, then you'll have to arrow down to the specific track,

and press enter to start the track.

If you created the playlist using your applications key, and selected the
play in Winamp option in your applications menu, then the playlist should
start playing automatically as soon as Winamp comes up.

I'm not exactly sure if I'm reading your question right or not, so if I'm
not reading it right, I apologize, and ask that you explain more of your
question.
