It must be something special to your situation as it has never been an issue for me. I see you use AOL which I know nothing about. David Ferrin [email protected] I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up too. ----- Original Message ----- From: "kimsan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2011 4:48 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] windows mail tweek tetorial
David: I got it done! It took less than an hour, don't know the exact time but it did not take long at all. The only complication I am having is that I can download mesages and read them but if I send an email , it just sits there in the outbox. If memory serves me, when I had vista, using windows mail, I had the same issue where I couldn't send emails but I could receive them. is there anything I could change? Could it be a port issue and I am needing to change? I'm here at work but I will wait and see what happens to the email when I get home. I say this because when I am here at work, for some reason, some things go out and some things just hang there like the duplicate email that will hit this list later this afternoon if it works. Lol, if it does work and the email sends when I arrive home the list will get a message stating that Kim commando holds nothing to you and you are a computer God! lol something along those lines haha. take care. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2011 12:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] windows mail tweek tetorial It is a self extracting archive with the instructions included inside, along with everything you need. Is it item 34 on the programs page? 34. Registry keys for installing Windows Mail on Windows 7 including instructions. After I download that item I get a winmail.exe, so do I run this? Where is the tetorial? Thanks.
