Can't you just highlight the program and either use the application key and up arrow to properties or use alt enter to properties there tab through and when you get to run in size down arrow to maximize? and then tab to okay? I have done this to all my icons and those in the start menu and never have a problem with minimized windows. The script avoids you needing another program running in your system tray for an up side so to speak.
