Yes but either way the so long as the window gets maximized without the operator having to do all of those steps to do it manually then it is automated. The script will only work if your display is set to windows classic so the traditional minimize or maximize graphics in the upper right hand corner are visible. It looks for the maximize symbol and if it finds it automatically clicks on it to maximize the window. So in effect performs a mouse click. The trick is and I have even gotten tired of looking is where it is placed in the outlook express jaws script file keeps on moving from version to version so I am using the auto siser program myself at this time. I do know where it goes in windows mail since auto siser does not work reliably in windows 7. Notepad is easy since it does not require any scripts so it simply goes in there and I make it an auto start event script. David: When you say: "but my way is automatic." You are talking about the use of the scrips right and not the audo sizer program? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Friday, May 06, 2011 7:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] automatically maximizing windows Yes you can, but my way is automatic. I have done this to all my icons and those in the start menu and never have a problem with minimized windows. The script avoids you needing another program running in your system tray for an up side so to speak. I'm looking on the jaws-users scrips page and what is the difference between the scrip 1. Script To Maximize Most any Window Automatically vs autosizer? I'm asuming, the program would be easier to use vs messing with a scrip? Maybe I am way off on all accounts? lol.
