I have always had AMD and never a bit of trouble, would be verry
hesitant about changing, but who knows. PERHAPS IT COMES DOWN TO
WHAT EXACTLY AND HOW MUCH You are trying to do. As par for the
course I only ever have programs open that need to be and nevrer have
unneccessary stuff running in the background

I had a lot of AMD's and I will not by them again.
If you can, go with an intel core I3, I5, or above or if you want
something a little bit older, go with the Core2 Dual.
