Hi Dan,

Just out of curiosity, where are you missing your address book from? What I
mean is, is it gone from Outlook Express or, is it missing when you try to
open it from a shortcut? To check to see if your address book is still on
your computer do the following;

1. Go to the desktop & press enter on My Computer.
2. Press enter on Local diskC.
3. Press enter on Documents & Settings, press enter on your name folder or,
it might be named owner if there is not a folder with your name.
4. Press enter on application data, arrow down to Microsoft, press enter,
arrow down to address book, & press enter.

Now, you should hear Jaws read Dan.wab or Owner.wab, 1 of 2. If you hear
Jaws read this your address book is still in place. Let us know what
happens.

Also, What ever happened with your start menu issue? Did you get it
straightened out?

Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

Thanks for the suggestion; what's weird is that I never hit the delete key
so I'm thinking it's on this machine somewhere.//just don't know where, if
  at all.
