Hi,
I've been having a problem with accessing the Shoprite website. I get to a
page which indicates I'm there, but I can't go any further. I checked
properties and it indicates that the page is "not encrypted". What does this
mean and could that be the reason I'm not getting anywhere? If so, how do I
rectify this situation? I'm running Win7 and the latest build of JAWS12. All
help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Jo

HI Cliff,
If I remember correctly, you're running XP & Outlook Express. If this is
so, do the following.
1. While in Outlook Express, without any messages open you want to go to
tools & options. The shortcut keystroke for this is, control, shift, + O.
2. You will be in the General tab when Tools & Options opens so, tab about
6 times to, Check for new messages every, & make sure this box is checked.
3. Now tab 1 more time to, Every minutes spin box, arrow up or down until
you have reached the number of minutes you want the computer to check for
new messages after. I have my computer set for 15 minutes. After setting
your minutes, tab to Okay, press enter to save your changes & close. If
you
want to check for messages sooner, you can press the, F5 key.
Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

Hi Cliff,
First of all, your subject line needs work, it doesn't tell us anything
about your question,
which is why I changed it.
Secondly, it would be helpful to know what e-mail client you are using,
if
that is the messages you are referring to.
Then, we could have a more relevant subject line.

I understand that it is possible to regulate how often your computer
searches for new messages.
How would I go about changing my present setting, to search sooner?
