Hello Cliff,
Ok, I have been in my e-mail since early this afternoon until now.
I have always used Outlook Express and recently started using Outlook.
Thanks for your reply and your help.
        Allen

Hello, Alllen:

I, also, have the 2003 package, and experience the incoming announcement, as

you do.

I think that, as long as you've been into your mail box, for any amount of
time, this will be an automatic presentation to your situation.

Myself, I don't mind it.
The messages will be there, next time you sign in.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Message announcing incoming e-mail

Hi everyone,
I hope someone can give me an answer. The last couple of days after
closing Outlook 2003, while just on the desktop, or with other applications
open, my e-mail notification will announce incoming mail. My wife hasn't
been able to figure it out, so I wanted to seek help from you guys. If
anyone has any suggestions, or knows how to fix this, I would appreciate
hearing from you. I have JAWS 12 latest update, XP Home SP3.
    Thanks,
    Allen
