Hi Mark,

I have the same problem as you when searching for something in Adobe Reader document.

I asked my sighted daughter about this. She told me that what happens is that when the search item is found, a sighted person can just read on the page what he/she was searching for and can then continue the search if it was not what they are looking for by hitting enter again.

So, the only way that I know of is to do a shift tab and then press escape to get out of the search dialog and then arrow down the page to find what I was searching for is the correct one, otherwise I must continue the search.

I know that this method is not easy for us blind folks, but I know of no other way to do a search in Adobe reader document. Of course, you can always save the PDF document as a text document and search it that way to land directly on the search word, but this method doesn't always work out like if you find the word in a PDF document.

Does anyone else on the list know of a better way?

Take care.

Lennie

Hi
I am using the adobe program for reading documents. When I do a control
F to find text, it appears that I can find the text I want but then how do I
switch back to reading the document where the search phrase is found?
Thank you in advance for your help.

God bless,
Mark
