It is correct when you use the previous windows Live Mail version.
But I’m using the newest version of WLM, and to add contact you have only
to
use:
CTRL SHIFT C
and in order to get to the contact lists you have to use:
control 3.

Ctrl+shift+C to get to the contact list, then again ctrl+shift+C to add a
contact, then just fill in the fields accordingly.
