I just made a discovery about Notepad which surprised me. Whenever you open
any new or old Notepad document the font and size will be the last one you
set on any Notepad document. For example I printed a list of a short medical
history for my new doctor. The nurse asked me if I had done it myself
because the print was so large. I had assumed that new documents would be
in a normal size print but it is whatever it was previously set on any
document. So I went back to the medical doc and saw it was set at 20.
Every document I created was also in 20 size. So I changed it to 12 and now
every doc I open in Notepad is set at 12 again.

Did you try going to the file menu and up arrowing to close or exit?
