Hi Matthew, Apparently, you did not read the original message closely. Copy and cut are different than Save As,. We are not talking about text from a message, we are talking about entire messages, which can not be copied or cut from the program, and moved elsewhere on the hard drive. Now, as you stated, they can be saved, using the save as, dialogue, but you didn't mention that this is a message by message basis. It is important that those on the list with less experience and knowledge understand that there is a difference, and when certain actions don't apply. I'm sorry that you didn't understand my original response, because it was quite clear in respect to what I was explaining, I wrote it as I was looking at the options, and not going from memory. What is the difference? He will end up saving the emails to the folder. That is what I took him to mean. If he had said copy and paste to a file such as a text document then sure what you said would make sense. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rick Justice Sent: Friday, October 07, 2011 11:43 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Email Folders Hi Matthew, As Jerry stated his question, he was wanting to copy and paste. I took his question to mean that he wanted to do this with a group of messages, which cannot be done with the save as dialogue. You could always go into the file menu and then to save as. I have done this for years and keep a folder with multiple sub folders, on my external, of emails I have collected. You could either save them as html or text. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of jerry martin Sent: Thursday, October 06, 2011 3:23 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] Email Folders I have created a folder for emails from the blind computing email list.
