Hello there;
If you go to the send/receive,
And you hear;
Offline button pressed,
This means your email is set to work offline, consequently, you will not be
able to receive email.
So, by using the keystroke, this will set your send/receive to be able to
receive and send email.

David, before I try this, what does it do?Does this turn on the virtual
ribbon or does it put me to working on line instead of off line? Thanks,

Fred:
Activate the ribbons and make your way over to the send/receive tab with
your right arrow key and tab and at the bottom you should hear work online
or something to that affect. I just did it and it said offline button, so I
assume this is where you would look.

When I go to my in box jaws says working off line. How can I change this to
read working on line as I am on cable and always on line. I should know how
to do this but I cannot remember. I am using windows 7, IE8 outlook 2010
and latest jaws 12.0. Thanks much,
