Hello,
You go to desktop windows by write "desktop" on run dialog and press enter.
Then go to menu View by alt + V and selectcose "choose detail". And you can
uncheck itums you want to be disappeared then press OK.

I am using windows 7, outlook 2010 and jaws 12.0. At present time I am
using classic desk top but I have same problem on windows 7, basic or
classic desk tops. All of my desktop icons jaws reads name, MB size and
date modified. Could someone tell me how to get jaws to read only the
desktop icon without the other info? I would appreciate any help on this
as it is very annoying. Thanks much,
