Mike, I have a Toshiba but am not certain if this will help, but here goes anyway.
1. Press insert F11 to bring up the system tray. 2. At the bottom you may see the volume control. 3. Enter here twice to find a volume mixer.] 4. I just up/down arrow to change volume.
