Hello, Trish:
This is a somewhat different solution than what you're looking for. Never
the less, here it is.
I don't open any "unzipt" files until I either copy or move them to my
cartridge.
When you unzip a file within a folder, you have several folders, all
pertaining to your book or magazine or book, thus the number of Alt-F4
strokes.
Have a great "do da day".

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Folder Issues
I have a situation going here.
I have a folder named downloads on win/7 here, now if I've downloaded
something to that folder and then unzip it, that all goes as expected.
When
I want to close the folder, I always just press the backspace key and this
usually works on all my folders in my Trish list provided I hadn't
unzipped
anything.
When I unzip something, then it's like there's several folders of this
same
thing opened and I can press the backspace key all the do da day, it's not
closing.
I have to alt f4 most of the time several times to get back to list of my
folders under my name. This only occurs when I've unzipped something.
So, is there some setting like in XP I remember you could set all your
folders to behave, so does windows 7 have this same folder setting?
Thanks,
Trish
