so just shut up and alt f4 all the do da day, right? lol

I poked in the setting in control panel, it didn't do jack..

This is a somewhat different solution than what you're looking for. Never
the less, here it is.

I don't open any "unzipt" files until I either copy or move them to my
cartridge.

When you unzip a file within a folder, you have several folders, all
pertaining to your book or magazine or book, thus the number of Alt-F4
strokes.
