Hello, let me be a bit clearer. A friend of mind is now learning to use the
internet. She is retired and wants to be able to exchange emails.
A relative or friend of her installed Windows Mail on her win7 machine
running JAWS 11.
No she is clueless about installing Windows mail 2009 so not sure how to
help as she in not in close proximity to where I live.
Besides she is afraid of messing with the machine for fear that something
may go wrong that she can't solve. So wants to know how toopen attachments
using Windows Mail 2011 using JAWS 11.
Hope I am clearer this time.

I think you left something out. You started out asking about opening
attachments. Then, your friend is afraid to install or modify anything.
Then, you asked the use of something and step by step instructions to do
it. Please explain more. Just what are you trying to do or what do you need
instructions for? I'm pretty sure we can help once we understand the
situation better.
