Hello try the following.
1, open skype;
2, alt+t=tools,
3, O=options,
4, down arrow one time you wil see/hear;
Audio settings,
5, now tab until you hear;
Ring on all devices,
6, use the arrow key and choose your head set.
Now tab to save press enter.
Also,
Go into the skype options,
Alt+t/o
Again arrow to audio
Now tab and make sure that,
The first combo box shows the microphone,
The second combo box shows the speakers,
Make sure you're hedphones are selected, by arrowing to the device,
Now tab save.
