Hi David,

Thank you very much but, maybe I am misunderstanding your putting shortcuts
in the start menu note. Let me explain a little deeper. When running XP &
using the classic start menu, you can put more things into it. Whereas if
you run the XP start menu you can only put a maximum of 30 items into it so,
I run the classic menu. Now, here is what I am trying to do; In the XP
start menu there is a thing called, Set Program Access & Defaults, that is
not available when running the classic start menu. What I am wanting to
know is , can Set Programs Access & Defaults, somehow be shown in the
classic start menu? I have tried making shortcuts but, I can't get the Set
Program Access & Defaults properties to come up to create a shortcut or the
file menu. I can't find Set Program Access & Defaults anywhere on the
computer to make a shortcut other than pressing the Windows key to open the
start menu. When I go to the start menu through My Computer/ Documents &
Settings/Name Folder/Start Menu, I only have all my shortcuts from the
classic start menu even though I have the XP Start Menu running!. Thanks
again, take care.
Mike

  Hi All,

I am running XP Pro & J13 latest, is it possible to have Set Programs
Access
& Defaults displayed in the start menu when running the start menu in
classic view? If so, would you please explain / give steps on how this is
  done? Thanks much, take care.
  Mike
