That's a good question. I don't really have an answer but I wonder why laptops don't beep when you turn those on? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2012 8:52 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] Fw: CPU Beep This is a question more suited for the list. What does the beep on the computer signify when you first turn it on? One of my new Systemax computers does not beep and I'm wondering if they may have not hooked up the internal speaker. Seems to work ok. Must pass all internal test as it boots fine. Just wondering Al For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
