Regarding playing MP3 files in Winamp, try this: 1. Highlight the MP3 file. 2. press the Windows context menu key or press shift f10 then down arrow to Open with and either press enter or press right arrow. 3. Up arrow to "Choose default program..." and press enter. 4. Winamp will probably be selected, but if it is not simply press the letter W repeatedly or arrow around until you find it and highlight it. 5. Tab once and you will be at a checkbox where you can configure Winamp to always play MP3 files. Make sure this checkbox is checked. 6. Tab to Ok and press enter. 7. Test the setting by finding an MP3 file within Windows Explorer and pressing enter on it. Winamp should play the file.
