Cliff, this sounds very good. I want my size to remain always at 14 for
writing this manuscript, just like you have yours set at 12. Now, my
question is, how did you permanently set the size of your type at 12 to
begin with?

This would depend, most likely, on which office suite you're using.

Mine is Microsoft 2003.

I hit that combination, adjust my font to size, and that setting remains for
the duration of my writing session.

When I'm through, the font returns to my usual size, 12     point.

Hit that keystroke, arrow down, it goes in incriments of two, stop at the
size you like, hit enter, and you're set to go.

Hope this makes it clearer.
