In windows 7, go to your control panel and select trouble shooting link, and
then
select windows media player and tell it to fix the problem. Then, try your file
again. Make sure you have your player to play audio files. You can do it from
auto
play in control panel. Jim

Subject: [Blind-Computing] problem with media player

I am using Windows media player 12 on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Every time
that I select a song from my music files and try to playit, the player will
only funtion for approximately 10 seconds. I then get a message that Media
Player has stopped and that Windows is trying to find a solution.
Unfortunately, windows has never found a solutions. I would appreciate any
suggestions. this is very important to me as I am a music nut. Mike
