Hi. Don't press tab, grin. If you do it will do just what it says, add an extra row to the table.

What does one do when you come to the place where it says pressing tab here adds an extra row? God bless, Mark God Loves you! That would be Row 1, Column 1. The first row is likely a number of headers. You should be able to use the arrow keys to travel down the column or across the row; stopping in each element. Also, using the <TAB> key will move you to each succeeding element. For example, if there are 6 columns and 8 rows, continually using the <TAB> from Row 1, Column 1 should take you to Column 2, Column 3, Column 4, Column 5 and Column 6; using the <TAB> in Row 1, Column 6 should take you to Row 2, Column 1, etc. Using <SHIFT><TAB> will cause to navigate up the table. Once you find yourself in the middle of the table, using the right and left arrow keys will move you along the row; using the up and down arrows keys will move you up and down the column. ---------------- Frank James - NO, Not That One! ;-) E-Mail: [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: mark Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2012 11:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] Reading Tables in MS Word with Jaws Hi I recently received an important MS word document that has a table with data I need to enter. How do I go about reading the various boxes in the table? Is there an easy way to skip from one box to the next. How do I enter data? I am using JAWS 14 beta, and MS office 2010 on a windows 7 computer. Thank you in advance for your help. God bless, Mark God Loves you!
