Sorry, did not get the history of this email, must have deleted it or something. From what I gather you are trying to remove the junk your system builds in it's trunk thanks to Internet Explorer and overall usage of your Operating System which I presume is Windows. All that junk in the trunk slows down your computers performance and leads to weird behavior and frustrations!
Here is what you do as a quick solution to get rid of all temp files. Windows Key + R, in the run dialog box type %temp%. This should open a folder, Control + A to select all files in that folder. Shift + Delete sends them to wonderland without hitting your Recycle bin. Some files might not delete because they might be in use, ignore them. Recommended that you have all applications closed before you do this. It is also recommended for your system to perform at it's peak, you do not have any history stored on your browser, same thing goes with cookies and temporary files. You will have to google on how to do this. Because, it really depends on which browser you are using and which Operating System you have. If, after running DCU, then closing DCU & re-running it, it still shows the files as there, then you might have a problem. Generally, if your Browser is set to retain the Temp Files (your History), then the DCU can purge them, but the next time you launch your Browser, the files are put back. (Because you've told your Browser to remember what you've been doing.) If you have your Browser purge the files, then run DCU, and the files *still* persist, then you might want to run a program like "C Cleaner", aka "PC DeCrapifier", aka "Cleaner" to remove all the cruft building up on your hard drive. It's available from the Jaws User's Page: http://jaws-users.com/ :in the usefull programs section. Grab a copy, give it a run, and see if the files still insist on sticking around. Hope This Helps. -ShadowSystems For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
