Modern Windows does NOT run in DOS. Anyway I use Linux for a lot of things including wiping harddrives.
I boot a live CD called GRML from www.grml.org on the system I want to wipe. I use the good old dd unix command to wipe the entire harddrive. All 100% accessible - GRML provides software speech using Speakup but knowledge of UNIX/Linux is required to use the approach outlined above though. But learning is fun and learning Linux is especially fun <smile> -----Original Message----- From: Blind-Computing [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Lenny McHugh Sent: 27. mai 2013 05:02 To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] wipe your hd dos is the basic operating system.
