Oh yes you can enjoy yesteryear’s games. 1. Talking dosbox with NVDA for its speech and asap as dos screen reader. 2. 2. Windows xp in a VMware player virtual machine. And have fun.

This practice has been happening for years. “Super Deekout” is a classic example. I personally did not have the opportunity to purchase this game but shortly after receiving my XP machine in 2008, this game became a free title and I spent many enjoyable hours playing the full version. I too have spent money on games which are no longer supported such as Somethin’ Else’s titles. I particularly miss Audio Defence but I have dealt with it and moved on. I purchased many titles under XP which I don’t think would work under Windows 10 but I accept this. Surprisingly, Pacman Talks works perfectly under Windows 10 and I did not mind purchasing this again as it is a game I will never tire of. I was away from the Windows environment here for 6 years, preferring only to own a Mac. While I could have boot camped my Mac, I personally didn’t feel comfortable doing this. One of the reasons I wanted to come back to Windows was for gaming. While it is true that I may never be able to enjoy a lot of the old Windows games from yesteryear, I have discovered games which I wasn’t aware of up until 6 weeks ago. I am enjoying a lot of Oriel Gomez’s games (I think they are just brilliant!), and I personally can’t go past “World of War”, “Audiostrike” or “March Massacre”. Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.
