If you have markus in your party, you will beat the hydra, I have 2
priests and a mage but some of the numbers of goblins are hard to beat.
I have proceeded to the settelment but am unsure where to go next in the
mines or how to get there I know I need another keyto get over the
bridge but where is the last minny boss to get that key.

You want to use your strongest skills you have on every character you have.
Also, make sure you are using the best armor you can get as well as weapons,
and make sure your health and your other characters health is as close to 100%
as you can get it. Outcomes may vary, but I have been able to beat the Hydra
once or twice.
