I have surfaced from the Big tree successful on my mission.
Yea and Thanks to Paul and Phoebe for the help.
You were right too Phoebe , holy warrior was unlocked as soon as I
visited the final shrine.
Now my question is , Is that the end of the forest quest?
I see that I have the item I purchased from the store to clear the
blockage somewhere in the tree but am unable to find it yet, any clues
welcome.
I took the sample of the tree to lord adreiounous so I will wait for
that to play out but wondered if that was it for the forest quest?
I still need to finish up the mine & graveyard quest of course but I
figured I should wrap up the forest stuff first.
Also the map, so you can see locations that you have not discovered yet?
I am guessing that from what you guys say you can move around the map
useing the arrow keys to find locations and then mark and use the
beacon to get to them?
I have not used the map yet really so am not sure of how it works exactly.

Sorry, when I mentioned map in my last email I actually meant area, force of
habit that I tend to always refer to areas as maps. However, like Phoebe
mentioned, the actual map in A hero's call is really handy as you can check
your coordinates that way. I actually got quite lost when exploring the
tree, so the map came in really handy for finding my way in there.

I got it now.
My book was pretty much the same but it was important to know that I had to
turn the pages LOL!
That little detail escaped me till you guys posted.
Now to figure out the rings in the tree. LOL!
One last question for you Paul, you mentioned using the map to find the last
shrine I need to have my priest pray at.
Never used the map so am not sure how it works.
I thought you could not see locations on the map until you discovered them?
or is this not true.
I have roamed the bluffs, high ridges, windy bluff, deer trail ETC but no
shrine.
I will eventualy stumble across it so your tip about the south easturn area
of the first deep woods area at least gives me an idea where to search.
Again Thanks for all the help, this game is Really a lot of fun.
I have over a hundred hours invested in it so far.
Hay Lastly any clue on how to acheave the Holy Worrier status with the
priest?
I am level 45 but every time I go to raise the light of purity skill it says
I need to unlock holy warrior.
Any way, enough dribble from me LOL back to the game.

It has also been a long time since I played this. I believe the order
of pages in the book is different for different players, so the answer
to the dial will be different for everyone.

My copy of the book has the following page order:
To all that’s living... refers to a river Though small in size...
refers to a seed Tiny worker... refers to a bee If I am gone... refers
to the sun As I reach... refers to a tree

answer, from memory though there are five dials on the tree you need
to set correctly to solve the puzzle. The book has five pages, each
page gives the answer in the form of a riddle to each of the five
dials on the tree. I can't remember the exact answer and can't
remember what each of the options on the tree are, but I've just
taken a look at the book, I think page one is an acorn, page two a
tree, page three water, page four a bee and page five the sun. and
they should be your answers, although again like I said I can't
remember exactly what the options on the tree were so my answers
could be wrong, if that doesn't work let me know what each option is
on the puzzle and I should be able to work out the answer if my
above one is incorrect. As for the temple to pray at , again its been
a long time since I played but I'm pretty sure it's on the first
deep wood map (the one you first enter when coming to deep wood from
the town), I'm pretty sure it's over in the south eastern part of
the map
