For any linux users interested in playing alteraeon, a package called
tintin-alteraeon can be installed with:
git clone https://github.com/lilmike/tintin-alteraeon
This package also provides sounds and the tintin and sox packages are
required dependencies for tintin-alteraeon. It even has a
tintin-alteraeon.desktop file in it so even graphical user linux players
can play. The package advertises other muds when it starts so you're
not limited to playing alteraeon if you'd like to play another mud in
that environment.
