Hi, John! I ran into this problem for quite a while. The main fix is to run the game in windows compatibility mode. Either set it for Windows 7, or windows XP. Also, you need to make sure that windows media player is installed on your system. I don't know why this matters, and you certainly don't have to use windows media player for anything else, but it must be present for the game to run. I would recommend locating the executable file for the game and then doing the windows compatibility thing. Windows seven should work, but I guess go to XP if it doesn't. I hope this helps.
