HI, I believe its worth getting. There was quite a few bug fixes from 1.02 to 1.05. nice thing is you can have both installed at same time. But note that the game files are not transferable Between the two versions. In fact there might even be a problem upgrading anything so I would suggest that you finish any open games first just to make sure all goes well. The download link is:
http://www.blind-games.com/newentombed/EntombedSetup.exe And if your running a windows 10 system. I have pasted below a write up that Jason sims did to assist with that. The Entombed 1.05b installer doesn't install SQL Compact 3.5 Service Pack 2 correctly, which this version of Entombed needs to function properly. Install the SQL yourself. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5783 This download is a self-extracting exe made by Microsoft. Extract it to a folder you can easily find, which will contain three files: install.txt, SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi, and SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi As the install.txt states, if you're running a 32-bit version of Windows, install SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi. If you run a 64-bit version of Windows, then run SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi followed by SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi. If you're not sure whether your Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit, there's a couple easy ways of finding out. Bring up Windows Explorer to show the list of files and folders on your computer's c: drive, which is where most people install Windows. If you have both a program files and a program files (X86) folder, you have 64-bit Windows. Also check your Windows folder, if you have a syswow64 subfolder, then you also have a 64-bit version of Windows. Otherwise, if you only have the one program files folder and no syswow64, you're running 32-bit Windows. Once you've installed the SQL Compact 3.5 SP2, try running Entombed 1.05b. Enjoy. shermanator -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of john Sent: Sunday, April 26, 2020 9:40 AM Hi list, I've now seen several people say they're running Entombed 1.05, and aside from a single email thread on the entombed mailing list found while trying to debug a similar issue to what's going on in the other thread, I haven't heard a thing about it. Do any of you know if there are noticeable changes between the two versions (1.02 and 1.05), and if it's worth upgrading?
