Hey, The wolves are close to the gatehouse. I’ve started playing it again, so I can tell you where, but if you stay in the area where the gatehouse is located, you should find it. You have to free the wolves and then pull the lever in the gatehouse. If you pull the lever first, you can't free the wolves and Wilhelm dies.
