I remember it. I used to play most stuff microprose released. Civ and UFO /x-com were the best of them, but I do remember masters of orion. Thanks.

If you’re not familiar, it’s basically civilization in space, more or less. The one downside is that the text-based combat display is a little annoying, the game doesn’t provide quite as much info as it should. You can fortunately automate combat, and can win without having to fight much at allis you play properly. You can download the game from my Dropbox<https://www.dropbox.com/s/vqarb670u0c253k/1oom%20all-in-one%20release%20V1.3.zip?dl=0>, it includes a manual for the original DOS program and a command reference for the text-based port.
