Hi Cara,

Older titles like Alien Outback and so on are reset at the computer level, but newer titles like the updated Change Reaction, Silver Dollar etc, require you to do it at the server end, if the user in question no longer has access to the activated machine.

May I humbly suggest having a user licence web portal so that users who don't have access to their old machines can modify/delete activations themselves on the server end, rather than having to contact you about it?

Just a thought.

Cheers.

Hi David,

You’re contacting Draconis right now. :) I’m officially part owner of the company at this point.

I absolutely understand your concerns and just know that you’re being heard and that this actually does matter to us.

As I mentioned to Joshua, we hope to have some announcements this summer so please stay tuned. It really does mean a lot to us that you and others are still showing support for Draconis and are still enjoying the games!

Now, regarding reseting activations, since this was all set up way before my time with the company, you’d be far better served looking in the game manual itself.

Again, I’m also not a windows user so I do not know where to tell you to start with this.

If you cannot find anything in your game manual on this, let me know (either on-list or privately) and I’ll see if I can find anything on my end that will get you started.

My apologies I can’t be of more help just at the minute. I don’t have any info for this in front of me just now.

Best of luck and please let me know if you need me to do some research on this end.

Thanks David and have a great day!

Cheers!

Cara

Cara,
I can’t contact Draconis, and I’m unlikely to buy anything unless there is reliable support. My first suggestion would be to do away with the helpdesk software which clearly isn’t doing its job correctly. If others like me have similar experiences, they’re likely to assume that Draconis is no longer in existence, and that the web site simply hasn’t been taken down.
How can I reset my activations?
Many thanks,
David.

Is Draconis still working on games? I know Josh is an author now so it might be best to sell the company if life is taking him in a different direction... On Mon, Jun 6, 2022 at 11:36 AM Cara Quinn <[email protected]> wrote:

    Hey David,
I meant to send this earlier this past weekend but life happened.
    -Apologies.
Draconis is most definitely still alive so no worries on making a
    purchase if you like.
Regarding Change Reaction; Personally, since I am a Mac person
rather than Windows, I cannot offer specifics on how to do this,
but one possibility may be that you’ve used up your activations
for the game and may need to reset them? Have you checked this?
We will be digging into the server a bit deeper later this week
so if I learn anything else, I’ll let you know.
For now though, I hope this helps.
    Cheers!
    Cara

        Hi,
Still can’t register Change Reaction. Is the fact that
Draconis is still alive a rumour?
I even thought about getting Alien Outback, but things being
        as they are, I’m concerned.
        Thanks,
        David.
