Its always hard to predict what choices you need.
Easily you need all the scanners, then the armour and ship space
upgrades are nice.
Over that all the extra gate modules.
But yeah its an interesting game.
You do need planetry points at the start and bio points to a point but
its all xen points to finnish and you really don't need most of the
other things.

In the beyond the gate game the ending depends pretty much on your choices.
It can be quite complex to master but if it doesn't return maybe you

Yeah beyond the kiron gate is a real bitch to complete.
You need pritty much every core module installed pluss the 3 gate modules.
And some of them especially the last 2 need a load of xen points.
Even with that loaded I didn't like the end.

The race at the end was dead.
All though the gate mission was completed the ship never returned.
The best end in my opinion is to get all the planet core modules, all
the xen modules and the optional data modules pluss 1 or 2 peacefull
contacts then call it a day.
