Hi, Cutting gems takes a bit of practice. And be sure to wear luck as it slows down the movement and sounds. If you can get someone sighted to assist you. Either by cutting them or letting you know what is going on so you can time it better. Practice makes you better and You will certainly need to practice.

The phone is still vibrating at the end of my last tap and stops about then. I don't cut perfectly, so the timing could probably be better refined. I've never figured out the fine art of the split tap. I just do a plain doubletap and live with the results. Some people swear by the split tap.
