I was looking at getting one of the Archos players, as there is firmware that enables speaking of the menus. I have a 2 gb storage card for my Pacmate, so I can usually carry enough sound to keep me occupied, but it'd be nice to carry more. I'm not opposed to learning menus, but there is a convenience factor. Do a google for Rock Box, and you will find the custom firmware and a list of players.
