Hi, Justin.
Well, one major reason for the slow down is STFC was rewritten from
absolute scratch. There is a number of major and miner bugs plaguing the
new game. however, it is coming close to being done. Major issue after
that is putting a game registration system in.
I don't think it will be all that long. It is in private testing currently.
