Yes, that's true for the customer. for the seller pre order is a device to see what the market can handle as the price in the long run. Larger the pre order demand the higher price tag can be. Pre order can last for a period of time to test the market, but is useless whendone for a very short time Pre orders for a real long time is really not good. I do have a bridge I would like you to pre order at a very low price.
