I had tried Party Poker a year ago and found it 45 percent accessible. after return there I still find the web site and the tables a little batter. The down load of the lobby program for Jawsyou can get around, but since there are so many tables and the lalyout amkes reading hiteus. The reading of tables labels can be grouped to what your looking for, but to search and group them up is a core at times. You have to open a combo box that at times is hard to find when the lobby is updating itself. It does not use a flash player, but it acts like it since its a piece of software that gets information for the Party Poker server to update.. Since your not on a web page you can not tell it to stop refashing itself so you can move down the page. Having such a lobby software is a great idea and I had sujested such a concept to All in Play. This way you can go to the lobby to see the different tables at the different games. IN the lobby as well you then can change options and other things from there and if you wanted to play off line it be easy as wely.. But for Party Poker the software for the Lobby is mouse driven very much visual.
All poker tables are simular. if you ever looked at the layout of All in Play tables with the Jaws cursor the tables have players name and chip counts scattered across the screen. With some Jaws configs the Pary Poker tables can be cleaned up by getting ride of Graphics that are for just for show and the dialog box can be edit out as well. Last year I had a person with vision to help me play and now it looks a little better where the cards options can be turned off to allow the text ranking and numbers to be shown in the chat box. The chat box scrolls up and what type of info that goes into this box. This time I just sat in and try to see if I could follow in what is happing. I was able to create Jaws frames to allow me to check different parts of the table, but I found the best way to follow the action was to drop the PC cursor into the chat box scroller. You could tell that the player had vision, the play of as it was being played in one of the Yikes tables at AIP.. Since the cards text is in the chat box you have only a few seconds to hear the cards be read then the next line comes in. With out able to review the cards when you turn is up, its not going to be much fun trying to remembering the seven cards then getting another set when the hands in under a minute. So, before goiong and signing up with Party Poker I hoped this review help. Just remember what had started this thread was asking if there was other poker istes and so even Pary Poker was not the Poker site of choice, because the AIP Texas hold'em server was down so it makes one want to see if there is any other poker sites that may be accessible, you will find there are not and won't be. These sites are money driven and for me I don't trust them besides. Oh sure they can say how thele site is certified much and stuff, but the poker engines are like slot machines, they can be adjustable so they don't lose money. If a player is a good player will that looking for other getting cards that are bad more often then not. I have poker site even tested out this theory by playing bad, and you do seem to get better cards. Even on AIP I see hands where I felt I been tested to see how I would play a certain hand. These test hand I see as finding if your a good player, a OK player or if you are a bad player. Lastly, there are the monkey makers, those who make money for the site. These player win more often then not. So beware, my friends and remember that All in Play is for fun een though they do use the same type of engines as other poker sites you can sit at a poker table and crazy 8s and play with your friends and not some one you wants to bang you over the head and take your cash. The people at AIP are trying to do something that no one else is doing and is very noble. So give them your support. A handful of guys create games that can be played around the world is stuff enough to keep those servers up where like a company Party Poker is on the stock exchange and hundreds employee that keep there site up. There you don't even get to play with the boss or his developer, but we do and that is a persenal touch that you won't get at other Poker sites. A communty where you have a say in it, not like those other poker iste that did not respond to those emails that this thread talked about. Hell, we even get to voice chat to the Man himself. Smiles, even at times he sounds like a car salesman. My hats of and my thanks to AIP to allow me to play cards when I want to. The Texas holdem will not always go down, pretty sure the game is on a server that is used for testing and will move over to a more stable server. The test server is mostly a old server. So, by our support in AIP they will get new server to host the final product on it. Try to not think what AIp is going to do, but what they have done for you. I look back at the hours wasted playing cards and having fun wasting those hours. Sure there times when those cards are not coming, I ask myself what am I doing here, I could be flaussing, or picking dog poop.
