Hi, Alex.
I am not sure what all is in store for LW 4.0, but you are right about 
the current physics emulation. As it happens submarines are typically 
made of steel and titanium hulls. so they are extremely heavy. Not sure 
about the specs on the World War II subs, but they would be heavy, but 
not like modern day classes.
Not only is the physics unrealistic, but how quickly the enemies repair. 
It seams like they can repair extremely  quickly and be back to full 
strength in a matter of minutes when in real life those ships would be 
extremely damaged if not crippled.
