People just need to drop the spoiled brattiness that has marred this community for the past few years. These flamers act worse than children. My six-year-old daughter knows better than to say some of the things that have been said on this list. People like Jim Kitchen have spoiled us by giving us free games, I think. Now we make all kinds of demands on various game developers, which is fine--but do it in a most insulting disrespectful manner. Have we no honor? Have we no understanding that we deal with humans, not machines? James and others are real people, not variations of the same old synthetic voice you hear when you read your Email. I can totally understand why people have decided that they are tired of making games. No one seems to realize the amount of hard work that goes into a game--even a simple one. It's true that many games for the blind are of poor quality compared with those of the sighted, but they're pretty damn good if you consider that they're totally engineered and designed by one or two people, not game designer teams being paid big bugs to work. This flaming, slave-driving, back-biting nonsense has to stop or our list will be losing even more precious people. People are ideas, game devs, and so on--but they are much more. Remember that Eloquence makes each of you sound to each other as I sound to you right now--a boring stupid synth that rambles on unemotionally with no character whatsoever. The people behind these messages are not like that though--none of you. You folks that do the complaining--maybe you have a right to be angry, but instead of flaming why don't you make your own games. If you don't like James and his methods, make a comparable game and deliver it to us. Show us how it's done! Show us that you can do better than he, then folks will listen.
