my answers are currently ok and not really accessible wise except audioquake
which seems to need some shades of doom like detecters otherwise all I want is
more games to be able to be played online.

no

menus

don't care, speech is good, human speech is prefured, sapi speech is adoquit
standard text in message dialogs is crap but I suppose it would be ok, depends
on what game.

Each game has sounds to learn, and each has different sounds.
Non speech audio cues are good.
However I am the kind of guy who hacks into the games without reading the
manual, and mostly I am ok.

Depends on the game.
Generally I like background fx.

Footsteps, beeps, pitch going up and down.
Saying that standard beeps are crap so they would have to sound quite chunky
depends on game.

Never thought about that, sounds in front, behind, and on each side.
But I am not a dev just a lowly hacker.
