hey all.
has anyone had trouble with online play about cars not ending in propper
positions? i was playing online yesterday around 4:30 to 5 pm gmt-7 on a
server. i was player 8, and we were doing the america track. well i took off
and made it into first. i could hear the other cars behind me. no one passed,
as i was at top speed, lol, all the way. so i end it and i'm sitting there
listening to the other cars come in. the trouble is that i, according to the
game, either came in last or didn't play at all, i don't remember. also i have
another question. anyone know how much information is exchanged between server
and client? i'm thinking that part of the problem could be that too much is
being exchanged for my dial up connection. if this is so, then i'm going to
make a suggestion to the devs to find a way to cut down on that so the few of
us with dialup who can't get broadband can play against friends.
thanks
brandon
